The Waiting Game...

We recently went to an information meeting at Dillon International in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was so helpful and really made our minds feel at ease. They explained gave us a broad overview of what we should expect when adopting. I will be honest,. All of the paperwork seemed a little overwhelming along the the cost. But we have to have faith that God will provide. If anyone is reading this and knows of some ways to finance an adoption, we would really like to hear them. It was great to meet other couples and just get to know some of the members of the Dillon team. Our speaker Julie really made the whole meeting very relaxed and was open to any questions that we have. Sadly, we found out that to adopt from India we have to have been married for 5 years. But at 3 years we can start the process and hopefully in 2 years after that we will be bringing our child home. To our child: God is pulling us to you and it is stronger that we both could ever have imagined. I don't know if you have been born yet, but your Daddy and I pray everyday for you. We pray for your family and especially your mother. In the future she will be giving us the greatest gift we have ever known. We love you.
